Reports Module

Reporting is one of the optmyzr core modules in generating meaningful and automated insights for the business to review and take action on critical account performance. Whether it's an in-house team or an agency optmyzr reporting helps teams to evaluate their accounts helping them to regain control with automated scheduling and a template-based report creation approach.

The Problem Statement

Optmyzr uses an advanced mechanism that involves an automated and template-based report creation process where a generated report can be mapped with all the supported accounts in the system but, the existing representation of the module lacks in clearly communicating the concept where the users end up sticking to inappropriate workflows limiting the module capabilities. Morever, the existing workflow needs a learning curve and demands multiple user interactions in performing a simple task. So thereby, users need extra efforts to create and manage their reporting data.

Existing visual and interaction design drawbacks

Primary Account switcher/name is hidden due to improper handling of long headlines [Content]

Navigating through a huge list of campaigns with multiple categories is a pain and have a discoverability issue

Selecting large date ranges involves multiple clicks to access the data, moreover showing 3months range takes huge screen real estate

Uploading images for theme is not always an ideal case for report preview and it also affects the report size and format

Adding a widget also adds the title widget by default which is not intuitive

Improper Categorisation of widgets

Recording the widgets doesn't actually show the widget names

Discoverability issue with multi select input

Charts are not colour coded according to their categories

Labels are placed out of range which can be accessed with download PDF
